1. I looked everywhere for suitable hinges until I realized that cabinet hinges are the best for this mod. So you need a set of cabinet hinges.

2. Now you need some kind of bolts and nuts with washers and tools to screw them into place.

3. Using an appropriate size drill, you may need to drill a hole in the hinges a little larger if you want to hold it securely using medium sized bolts.
4. In the trunk, I have two holes to stick the license plate, so if you have one, you can use it easily. If not, you may need to think about something else.
5. For me, my plate has holes right in them, so not much to do with the plate, but just screw it into the hinges when the hinges are in place. Sometimes you have to fiddle with the placement of the hinges to match the holes in the plate so you can mount it.
In the end, putting the plate on the hinges can be easy, as long as you have the right bolts, drills and cabinet hinges you should be able to make it work somehow. NOW DON’T BE LITTLE WITH THEM… In any country it can be a huge punishment lol.

Now if you open the switch on the fan motor which is stored under the 2 up seat along with the wire attached to the plate it will pull up the reverse switch and you can feel like a guarantee!
You will definitely find shorter bolts or cut them. Thanks for the advice! And yes, it would be a good idea if you feel like a boss. I just posted a simple DIY for it because I couldn’t find it, so I hope it helps some people!

There’s a reason there isn’t a DIY for this. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how to lock a hinge on a license plate.
