Personally, I would shine and paint it gold or red to make it stand out. Gloss black wheels are a pain to clean and keep clean. (I wash cars for work) stains and gets dirty quickly

Black is actually the worst color for a wheel on any car. I don’t know why it is so popular? They look good in just the right lighting, but often the wheels become invisible in photos and all you see is a huge black space where the wheel should be.

For my atomic silver I will do some kind of polished wheel. Since the silver atoms are not actually silver in any form, the polished wheel will not collide.

Agreed upon. I like the wheel color which matches the wheel design and mostly hides the black face design. I myself have red wheels. They are similar in color to the backlight and their interior is red. Everyone has their own. Given the options the OP is looking for, I’d recommend chrome or polished rims if I choose black rims.
This was actually another complaint I had with the IS F-Sport when I bought it, its rims were too black for me.

Thanks. I have to ask, how did you put the 20X10 et25 back? With this offset, the wheel should be stuck a few centimeters behind the layer. I could hear 40 or 45 in the back, but I can’t wrap my head around 25.
Unless it’s something like diamond black or gloss black (black chrome, polished), I wouldn’t settle for black wheels. Water marks will stain if not cleaned often and collect all kinds of dust.
Polished paint, or powder coated metal arms for a sophisticated look? Or just go like me and buy red candy lol. Enjoy your frames, look back one day and be like “yeah, I had red rims”

I like the red protective color on my wheels, but my friends disagree. Since this will be another set for my Carrera, I want it to be a little different.
My personal route would be a powder coat, but there is some debate as to whether this weakens the wheel.
Yes, I did some research on how the powder coating process can weaken the wheels. I don’t think it will be a security issue, so I decided not to worry about it. The only negative thing about powder coating would be the cost and the scratches are more difficult to touch up.
I will do the process at Al Reed Polishing which is local to me and has good reviews from others on the forum.

I love that you went for a second set so I could go for something crazy though, I got the gloss black powder coated and they turned out really well.
