Then put it in your washing machine on the gentlest setting and wash it with Woolite. Remove it from the machine immediately and let it air dry. If you want to speed it up, use a fan to blow air. Never use a hair dryer as this can damage the glue that holds the lining and padding together.

You can wash your helmet cover with mild soap in your washing machine on the gentlest cycle. A mesh garment bag helps protect the pieces. Do not place the liner in the dryer or expose it to other heat sources.
If you can’t remove the helmet cover, you can still clean the inside, but it will take longer to dry. You will need a clean cloth and a bowl of warm, mild soapy water. Remove any layer components you can. Also, remove any electronics, such as communication systems. Then, with a soapy cloth, start cleaning the inside of the helmet section by section. Don’t be afraid to saturate the hood while cleaning. After cleaning each part, wash it with a clean cloth soaked in clean warm water. You want to remove all the soap from the lining and stuffing. Don’t be afraid to wipe the hood with a clean wet cloth as a final step.
Using warm water and plenty of soapy water, clean the inner lining of the helmet. Then wash until no more foam comes out of the liner when the soap is compressed.
To dry the inside of the helmet, press the liner and liner with a clean, dry cloth until no water escapes. Then place the helmet in a place with good air circulation to dry.
