Fiido bikes are designed to travel at 30 km/h and are limited to 25 km/h only for legal reasons in some countries.
So removing the restriction is actually just a factory reset. There are no flaws or issues with it.
But this is not the same with all bikes. And unlocking can have big problems on other bikes if they are limited by technical reasons like overheating. So there is no other way to know other than just searching online if a model has been unlocked by other users and if there are any flaws after unlocking.
For example, I removed the speed limiter from my Xiaomi M365 scooter and fried it the same week with a simple ride.

Tried. But it just removes the speed to go only 25 km per hour. It does not take the speed of 4 gears. I try again, but it doesn’t seem to work. Someone please help in the booth

It is interesting that the manufacturer will publish how to defeat their own product. Then they’ll have it both ways. 1) Sell a safe and legal product. 2) Sell a dangerous illegal product – no liability. What if gun manufacturers did this to sell more guns by announcing how to make them fully automatic? You know when these bike motors melt due to overdrive the manufacturer will refuse to post information on how to get rid of it and will void the warranty. The display on the handle controller only shows the battery level. I’m not sure a 250W motor can do much more than 15 mph in the first place.
