I’m about to complete my 1 year franchise and hope to take the Audi care plan before that, right? I’m on the fence because I don’t usually keep cars for 5 years or more – it’s usually more like 3. Paying for the first service (the one I’m about to go for), I’m not sure I’ll get enough value from Audi Care. Does anyone know how much 20/30/40k services would cost without a plan? If a 20 and 30k service is $500-600, I’d jump at it for the chance to keep the car longer and for moderate resale value.

I took mine in for the 1 year / 10,000 mile service and if my service advisor wants me to buy Audi care for the 20,000 / 2 year service call him anytime up to 24 hours and he can add it and then schedule a next day appointment once it’s in their system. Not sure if all dealers follow suit, but decided to wait until next year.

I am thinking of doing the same but I want to know what the cost is 20k, 30k, 40k, 50k for the next 4 service visits. I read that these don’t have a trans flush so I don’t know what they do at my dealer other than oil changes which are $80-100 so $400 on the high end. Does anyone know what the later service visits involve?

Audi Care for our cars includes 4 oil changes, 1 spark plug replacement, 2 brake fluid flushes, 2 or 3 engine air filters and cabin air filters, all inspections and service light adjustments requiring a VAG device or Audi computer. to reset. So I decided to go with Audi at Audi Care for this car even though I prefer to do my own service at home (and there is a great dealer near me that I trust to service the car).
